I definitely agree that "My Grandson the Doc" will not give ER a run for it's money, but it definitely will make me turn off the TV when it shows, or simply switch to channel 8!
I give credit where it is due and it definitely is not due here! The show sucks!! All the DIRECT comical stunts the casts try to pull are lousy and unimpressive! Can't they be more like MURPHY BROWN or SEINFELD, BOSTON COMMON, ELLEN?? In these foreign comedies you don't see what the joke's really about at first thought but after further thought, you realise the true essense of the sentence made (or situation involved)!!
"Under One Roof" was great of course!! Happy Belly is another one of those lousy productions, together with many more!! It's not that I do not support local TV but whether they are really worth the support! I would like to say that GROWING UP is fantastic, really great cast who acted their best!!
To the Singaporean comedians and their producers who produce comedies, just a little message, "Watch how others do it, and LEARN!!". I know that I am probably unfit to say all these....SO WHAT!!
